“1-0 victories are very important over the course of a year” – Jim Duffy

Greenock Morton manager Jim Duffy was delighted after Tuesday night’s rescheduled match against Dumbarton, as his depleted squad fought their way to a 1-0 victory over Stevie Aitken’s Sons side. However, the Ton gaffer insisted he hasn’t even looked at the league table yet as “nothing is won in February”, despite his side showing a 4 point gap over neatest competitors Dunfermline and Queen of the South for that fourth and final promotion playoff spot in the SPFL Ladbrokes Championship.
