Raith owner John Sim admits the Rovers are in a “worse financial state today” than they were in 2005

Just 13 years ago, Raith Rovers faced financial oblivion with the Kirkcaldy club being in a tough position on and off the park. After a ‘Reclaim the Rovers’ campaign, the Fifers were saved – with John Sim helping out the club he supports financially to keep the Stark’s Park club afloat.

Now, however, the League One side are admittedly in a ‘worse financial state” as Barry Smith’s side confirm their full-time status heading into next term.

In an exclusive and in-depth interview with his club’s YouTube channel, Sim told RaithTV:
